At Pippi Lane Studio, each jewellery piece is designed as a small ritual in self-expression—made to be treasured, worn with care, and passed down. To honour the intention behind your piece and extend its life, we recommend the following care practices.
Everyday Considerations
Your jewellery is delicate by nature and thrives when worn mindfully.
-Avoid exposing your piece to direct sunlight or high heat for extended periods, as this may weaken or discolour certain materials.
-Remove your jewellery before swimming, bathing, or engaging in physical activity. Chlorine, salt water, and sweat can damage plating and cause erosion or tarnish over time.
-Keep your pieces away from perfumes, oils, lotions, and sprays. These can cloud gemstones and quicken the tarnishing process.
-Avoid contact with rough surfaces or other metals to reduce scratching or bending.
Storage
-Store each piece separately in its original pouch or box to prevent tangling or scratching.
-Keep your jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Care & Cleaning
-To refresh your jewellery’s shine, gently polish with a soft, dry jewellery cloth.
-Sterling silver and gold-plated pieces benefit from a gentle wipe to remove any build-up from daily wear.
-Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners. For gemstones, use only a damp, soft cloth and mild detergent if needed—never soak or scrub.
Pearls & Natural Materials
Pearls, shell, and other organic elements are sensitive souls. They respond best to gentle care and are often the last thing to put on and the first thing to take off. A soft cloth wipe after each wear helps maintain their natural lustre.
